I want to change my furnace filter.
Btw in east texas all furnaces coils blowers go in the attic.
Turn off your furnace before checking or replacing the filter.
The general rule is to change a furnace filter usually located behind a return air vent or in a slot on the furnace itself at least once every 90 days.
Went with a furnace with a pull out filter.
Only the condenser is outside of course.
I can t find any filter on my furnace.
Excessive dust and debris in the furnace area will be pulled into the vents clogging the filters which can cause the furnace to malfunction.
If the furnace turns on while there is not filter in it then it can suck up potentially damaging loose debris.
Keep the area around your attic furnace clean.
